"Gestures of Hybridity" opens at HPAC, Thursday, March 19

DOEprojekts invites you to the opening reception of our participatory art action "Gestures of Hybridity." COME PLAY with sight and sound at Hyde Park Art Center!
More information about the event may be found here.
Our seven large drawings can be “played” by YOU using our custom-designed brass stylus. We have selected the sounds and tones based on their subjective connections to the cultural keyword HYBRIDITY, which is “the trend to blend.” Come blend your movement with sound and drawing!
Hyde Park Art Center’s Muller Meeting Room is a community space open to all. It also acts as an informal learning and presentation space that highlights activity and programming at the Art Center, displaying finished projects and works in progress by members of the Art Center’s community, including students, teaching artists, resident artists, exhibiting artists, and youth participating in our outreach initiatives.
