"just us at work" — skyping with Louise Mazanti

Today, Deborah Doering, DOE Projekts, and Louise Mazanti, PhD, discussed "just us at work" via Skype.

Mazanti is the author of "Super Objects: Craft as an Aesthetic Position", an essay published in Extra/Ordinary: Craft and Contemporary Art by Maria Elena Buszek, editor (www.dukeupress.edu). She obtained Scandinavia's first PhD in craft theory, from the Danish Design School, where she developed a theoretical position which identifies craft as a practice independent of art and design discourses.

Excerpts from Mazanti's essay about "just us at work" will be posted at www.DOEprojekts.com in the near future.
